CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH C.A.R.E. Ministry Jim and Carol Brown head up the C.A.R.E. Ministry for the Needy in our community every Tuesday and the Street Ministry for the Homeless every Sunday. C hrist A wareness R eaching E veryone That's the purpose behind Calvary's Community Ministries, called the C.A.R.E. Ministry. Our C.A.R.E. Ministry ministers to low income and needy families in the local community with food, clothing, counseling, witnessing, prayer and financial assistance (as funds are available) and referrals to other agencies for needs that we cannot meet. This ministry depends soley upon the blessings of God through the generosity, support and volunteerism of the members and friends of Calvary Baptist Church. Community C.A.R.E. Ministry is each Tuesday from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. STREET MINISTRY Our Street Ministry is for the homeless every Sunday Morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in downtown Augusta. We minister with food, clothes, Bibles, prayer, gospel message (different speaker each week) and music once a month.
